• Tulane subscribes to the full, electronic version of the Chicago Manual of Style.

• Consider using an electronic citation system to organize primary and secondary sources. I’m a fan of Zotero.

Advising

• Refer to our Department’s Graduate Handbook as you plot your graduate career.

• Please notify me at least two weeks before letters of recommendation are due. When you request a letter from me, be sure to include a link to the grant/fellowship and your application materials. You are welcome to send an Outlook invitation so that I can import all of this information into my calendar.

• Each April or May, we should meet after completing this assessment to ensure that we’re on the same page.
